INVESTOR ALERT! Investigation of Joey Broussard of Allen, Texas
Have you lost money with financial advisor Joey Broussard of Allen, Texas? We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Joey C. Broussard. FINRA barred Broussard from the securities industry after he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation. FINRA was investigating Broussard regarding allegations that he forged a customer’s signature on a letter.
FINRA alleged that one of Joey Broussard’s customers agreed to invest $15,000 in an oil and gas venture called Bayou City Exploration. Under the terms of Bayou City’s investment agreement, investors had a 10-day window to rescind purchases. The investor wrote a letter to Bayou City, asking to rescind the agreement. It was alleged that Broussard found out about the letter, and then wrote a second letter to Bayou City asking it to cancel the rescission. Broussard allegedly hand wrote the letter and then forged the investor’s signature.
Joey Broussard was a financial advisor and registered representative of Source Capital Group from July 2010 to April 2014. He worked at a branch office in Allen, Texas.
