Have you lost money with financial advisor Victor Rigoni III (CRD# 4272056), of Summit Brokerage Services and Cetera Advisor Networks, in Lake Forest, Illinois? FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) suspended Victor Rigoni from the securities industry for three months. FINRA alleged that Rigoni failed to timely disclose numerous tax liens.
Victor Rigoni’s BrokerCheck report, a public record maintained by FINRA, states that Rigoni has been the subject of six customer complaints, some of which make allegations about sales of non-traded REITs (real estate investment trusts) and variable annuities. REITs can be traded publicly or non-traded.
Victor Rigoni was a registered representative of Summit Brokerage Services from 2010 to September 2019. He was also with Cetera Advisor Networks from September 2019 to August 2020. Rigoni has worked in offices in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Brokerage firms like Summit Brokerage Services have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.
