Fraud: Steven Rodemer of Stifel Nicolaus in Colorado Springs

Have you lost money with financial advisor Steven Rodemer?  We are looking into allegations made about Steven Dale Rodemer from Pueblo, Colorado.  The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a complaint against Rodemer, alleging that he stole money from a customer.  Rodemer allegedly used the money to pay for various expenses associated with his vacation home and credit card bills. 

FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) barred Rodemer from the securities industry.  FINRA alleged that Rodemer failed to respond to its investigation.  

Steven Rodemer was a financial advisor and registered representative of Stifel Nicolaus from November 2011 to January 2020.  He worked in branch offices in Pueblo and Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

Brokerage firms like Stifel Nicolaus have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
