Have you lost money with financial advisor Joseph Thurnherr?  The Law Firm of Israels & Neuman is investigating allegations made about Joseph M. Thurnherr from New York, New York.  FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) barred him from the securities industry and alleged that he failed to respond to its investigation.   FINRA was investigating Thurnherr regarding allegations of a customer complaint.

Joseph Thurnherr was a financial advisor and registered representative of Spartan Capital Securities from January 2017 to October 2018.  He was also affiliated with Wynston Hill Capital from December 2018 to June 2019.  He worked in branch offices in New York City.  Thurnherr has been the subject of seven customer complaints, and he has also been the subject of previous regulatory investigations by Florida and New Jersey.

Brokerage firms like Spartan Capital Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives like Joseph Thurnherr, who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
