John Lisowski of Stifel Nicolaus Investigation Update

Have you lost money with financial advisor John R. Lisowski, with Stifel Nicolaus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania?  We are investigating allegations of customers related to Advisor Lisowski.  He has been the subject of two customer complaints.  The most recent customer complaint alleges that Lisowski mishandled a customer account through unsuitable, unauthorized, and excessive trading.

John Lisowski has been a registered representative of Stifel Nicolaus from 2007 to the present.  He works at a branch office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Brokerage firms like Stifel Nicolaus have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm including John Lisowski.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
