Have you lost money with financial advisor Jeffrey Stanga from Mission Viejo, California?  We are looking into allegations made by FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) against Jeffrey Stanga. FINRA suspended Stanga from the securities industry for twelve months, fined him $10,000, and ordered him to disgorge $28,359.  Stanga was being investigated regarding allegations that he sold investments in a real estate brokerage firm.  FINRA alleged that Stanga did not have permission from his brokerage firm, FMN Capital, to sell the real estate brokerage investments. 

Jeffrey Stanga was a registered representative and financial advisor with FMN Capital from October 2014 to March 2021.  He worked out of a branch office in Mission Viejo, California.  

Broker-dealers like FMN Capital have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm, including investments sold by their registered representatives.  Broker-dealers also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations.  When broker-dealers fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
