INVESTOR ALERT! Dana Bruce Vietor of Cape Securities and CFD Investments in Texas and Iowa

Dana Vietor, previously with Cape Securities, Barred by FINRA

Have you lost money with financial advisor Dana Vietor?  We are looking into allegations made about Dana Bruce Vietor from Irving, Texas.  FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) barred Vietor from the securities industry.  FINRA was investigating Vietor after he was alleged to have sold $3 million in “Deposit Agreements”, which turned out to be unregistered securities, between January 2014 and November 2018.

Dana Vietor was a financial advisor and registered representative of Cape Securities from June 2013 to July 2014.  He was also affiliated with CFD Investments from July 2016 to November 2018.  He worked in branch offices in Irving, Texas and Independence, Iowa.  Vietor has been the subject of six customer complaints. 

Brokerage firms like Cape Securities and CFD Investments have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
