Daniel Kasbar and HD Vest Investment Services

Have you lost money with financial advisor Daniel Kasbar of Hollywood, Florida?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Daniel G. Kasbar. FINRA barred Kasbar from the securities industry after he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation.  FINRA was investigating Kasbar regarding allegations that he engaged in outside business activities without permission from his securities brokerage firms, HD Vest Investment Services and LPL Financial.

Daniel Kasbar was a financial advisor and registered representative of HD Vest Investment Services from February 2011 to March 2014.  He was also affiliated with LPL Financial from March 2014 to June 2015.  He worked at a branch office in Hollywood, Florida.  He was terminated by LPL Financial for his failure to disclose his outside business activities.  He was also affiliated with Kasbar Financial.

Brokerage firms like HD Vest Investment Services and LPL Financial have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
