Scott Kaufman was a financial advisor and registered representative of LPL Financial from June 2017 to September 2019. He worked at a branch office in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Kaufman was terminated by two other firms, in 1994 and 2017.
Brokerage firms like LPL Financial have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.
