Wells. Washington alleged that Wells had sold investments in Life Partners, Inc., a purported life settlement firm. It was further alleged that material information about Life Partners was not disclosed to investors.
Life Partners, Inc. has been called “one of the largest frauds in Texas” by the Trustee overseeing Life Partners, Inc.’s bankruptcy, according to a Wall Street Journal article. Life Partners, Inc. filed for bankruptcy in January 2015, and it is uncertain whether investors will get their money back.
Donald Wells agreed to settle the claims made by the Washington Securities Division. As part of the settlement, Wells agreed to pay a fine of $2,450, as well as costs of $250.
Donald Wells was a registered representative and advisor with Titan Securities from March 2010 to the present. He was assigned to a branch office in Dallas, Texas. He also previously worked in offices in Seattle and Oak Harbor, Washington.
