Losses with Mirsad Muharemovic of Arive Capital Markets in Coram, NY

Have you lost money with financial advisor John S. Cangialosi of New York, New York?  We are looking into allegations made against John Cangialosi.  FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, suspended John Cangialosi from the securities industry for nine months, fined him $7,500, and ordered him to disgorge $271,000 in commissions.  FINRA alleged that Cangialosi excessively traded or churned three customer accounts while affiliated with Worden Capital Management and Legend Securities.

John Cangialosi was a representative of Worden Capital Management from November 2016 to December 2019.  He was also with SW Financial from December 2019 to August 2021.  He worked at a branch office in New York, New York.  Cangialosi has also been the subject of seven customer complaints and two other regulatory investigations.

Brokerage firms like Worden Capital Management have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
