Joseph Weinrich, Formerly with Moloney Securities, Subject of FINRA Complaint

Have you lost money with financial advisor Joseph Weinrich?  We are investigating allegations made about Joseph John Weinrich, Sr. from Overland Park, Kansas.  FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) seeks to punish Weinrich, after he failed to disclose a 2017 bankruptcy to FINRA and his former firm, Moloney Securities.

Joseph Weinrich was a financial advisor and registered representative of Moloney Securities from 1999 to May 2018.  He worked in a branch office in Overland Park, Kansas.  Weinrich has also been the subject of 15 other regulatory investigations, and he also was the subject of at least three customer complaints.  Two of the customer complaints were filed in the last three years, alleging breach of fiduciary duty.

Brokerage firms like Moloney Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
