UPDATE: KEVIN GUNNIP of Southlake, TX is BARRED

INVESTOR ALERT! Jeffrey Nimmow of Forest Securities in Merrimac, WI is BARRED

Kevin Gunnip, formerly with Morgan Stanley, Barred from Securities Industry

Have you lost money with financial advisor Kevin Gunnip of Southlake, Texas?  We are investigating allegations made by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) against Kevin S. Gunnip from Southlake, Texas.  FINRA barred Gunnip from the securities industry after he failed to respond to an investigation.  FINRA was investigating Gunnip regarding allegations that he engaged in unsuitable short-term trading for long-term securities.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Gunnip has been the subject of three customer complaints related to corporate bonds.  Two of the complaints were filed with FINRA, and each of the complaints alleges that Kevin Gunnip recommended unsuitable stocks to his customers while Gunnip was affiliated with Morgan Stanley.

Kevin Gunnip was a registered representative of Morgan Stanley from 2007 to the March 2018.  He worked at branch offices in Southlake and Fort Worth, Texas.

Brokerage firms like Morgan Stanley have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.

Israels & Neuman PLC is a securities and investment fraud law firm with offices in Denver, Colorado; and Seattle, Washington.  We represent investors in FINRA arbitration proceedings in all 50 states, including investors throughout Texas and in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.  Our attorneys have represented over one thousand investors against many brokerage firms in the past, including Morgan Stanley.
