We are investigating allegations of former customers related to Jonathan Pyne of Berthel Fisher. Jonathan Pyne’s CRD report, a public record maintained by FINRA, states that Pyne has been the subject of six customer complaints.
Specifically, Jonathan Pyne’s CRD report states that customers have made complaints about oil and gas, real estate, equipment leasing, and business development company (BDC) investments. Some of these complaints were settled, while others were denied.
In February 2019, Jonathan Pyne sought to expunge five of the customer complaints through an arbitration claim with FINRA. None of the complainants appeared for the expungement process. The FINRA arbitrator denied Pyne’s request to expunge these complaints from his CRD report.
Jonathan Pyne is a registered representative of Berthel Fisher & Company from 2007 to the present. He works at a branch office in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also is affiliated with Evergreen Financial Group in Minneapolis.
Brokerage firms like Berthel Fisher & Company have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.
